RF Online · Age of Patrons

RF NOVUS

Our own interface, our own protection against cheats and dupes, old game bugs fixed. We write about everything as we go.

Bellato Union — A small race of engineers: they pilot battle units and win with technology.

Holy Alliance of Cora — Masters of the Force: spells, summoned animus and an ancient faith.

Accretian Empire — Cyborg soldiers: heavy armor, launchers and iron discipline.

On the site, the "Knowledge base" has a new front page and one search across items, monsters, bosses and articles at once. site On the site: a "Bosses" section with the schedule The "Knowledge base" on wakaplay.site now has a "Bosses" section: when and where each boss appears, its stats, Forces and skills, how it fights and what to hit it with. interface All effects by the radar, the cloud as ordinary cells and server fixes The row by the radar now shows every effect on your character — buffs, potions and debuffs — and the cloud inventory works like the game's ordinary cells. Premium is extended by 7, 14 or 30 days, and the server gets a batch of fixes and countdown announcements before a restart.
The character panel in a new look

Interface

The character panel in a new look

In place of the old panel and the same size — nothing to look for

  • Level in a medallion: a blue gem in peacetime, crimson in battle
  • HP and FP in a gold frame; a light "trail" shows how much was just lost
  • Damage and healing numbers above the health bar
  • SP and premium days; hover for the exact end date

◆All effects turn off with one setting — for weaker computers

Interface

Quest journal: everything at once

The old one showed only names; the new one shows progress, goals and the reward

  • Tabs by quest type with counters
  • A timer for timed quests, "Completed" and "Failed" stamps
  • Goals with bars: whom to defeat or what to collect, how many you have and how many you need
  • Track up to five quests on screen; giving up asks once more

Interface

A map with all of the game's marks

NPCs, party, quests, guild points — with the game's own icons

  • Place names, your arrow, coordinates and a grid
  • The "+" button opens a zoomed area over the map
  • "Show" in the journal marks where to find the monsters you need and puts a "?" shield over them

An item tooltip with every line of the game

Class, requirements, attack and defense, special effects, trading

  • Name colors as in the game: type A purple, type B yellow
  • In red — what you have not grown into yet
  • Upgrade sockets — diamonds in the color of their talic, with the names of the inserted ones
  • No room on the right — it opens on the left

Inventory, character, skills and Force

The same tabs, buttons and size as the old windows

  • Ctrl + wheel — make a window bigger or smaller; place and size are remembered

Bosses

Boss schedule

When and where a boss appears and whether it is alive now

  • Bosses come from the game's own boss system: where each lives, how often it respawns, when it last appeared
  • Each race sees the bosses of its own lands and of the shared areas
