Accretia
The Accretia Empire is a race of machines that values technology, productivity and progress. Accretia went to war to defend itself from the Bellato Union, which wanted to rule the galaxy; together with the Cora it broke the Union. Now the Empire fights for the planet Novus against the Cora Alliance and the new Bellato Federation.
Society and way of life
- The Empire's good is the highest good. Every citizen is a part of one machine. The Accretians are clones grown from genetic patterns; they differ only by numbers.
- A machine body. After training in the Albarium a citizen's flesh is replaced with mechanisms — only the brain stays untouched. Only then do they become a full subject.
- Function over status. There are no classes as other races have them: a citizen's worth is how well they do their job.
- Science instead of faith. Anything against science and logic is banned; the Empire sees religion as useless — it never helped against the Cora.
- Daily life. No clothes — "changing" means swapping parts. The body runs on batteries, the brain on rations. No home or property of their own: the whole Empire is home.
Army
Before a war the Empire grows clones from the gene bank of its best fighters — they make up the army, though each may choose to be a soldier or a worker. Machine bodies carry heavy weapons no one else can: launchers (annihilators use them best), grenade launchers — they hit, heal and give buffs and debuffs — and the siege kit that turns a fighter into a siege gun.
Accretia in the game
- HQ: Accretia HQ — in barren mountains in the south-west of the continent, with several settlements nearby.
- Race money: CP.
- Bosses of their lands: the "Accretia" tab.
Classes. Accretia has no mystics — three paths:
- Warrior → Destroyer, Gladius → Punisher, Dreadnought, Warder;
- Ranger → Gunner, Scout → Annihilator, Desolator, Infiltrator;
- Specialist → Engineer → Scientist, Battle Leader.
